Changing the time of a meeting

Mr Song: Hello?
Mr Smith: Hello, is that Mr Song? It’s Smith.
Mr Song: Oh, hello, Mr Smith.
Mr Smith: Sorry to disturb you so late!
Mr Song: That’s all right. It doesn’t matter, if there’s something wrong, speak about it without hesitation.
Mr Smith: The thing is, I don’t whether I ate something bad today or what happened, but my stomach has been very upset and I had a fever until the evening. I reckon I won’t be able to make tomorrow’s meeting and was wondering if I could change the time?
Mr Song: Oh dear, you should have got in touch a bit earlier! That way I could have helped you arrange to see a doctor!
Mr Smith: Don't worry about it, maybe if I get a good night’s sleep it’ll get better.
Mr Song: Far from it! You’ve had diarrhoea, haven’t you? Or nausea, the feeling of wanting to vomit? I think you may have acute gastroenteritis! I looked after some American friends in the past, and they had this sort of condition. They were mainly unaclimatized and hadn’t adapted to the food here!
Mr Smith: Indeed I’m not very used to it.
Mr Song: Let me help you to book an appointment with the doctor later, it’s no good you resisting like this! Tomorrow, let me take you to see the doctor then.
Mr Smith: All right, mm, would it be all right for me to see a Chinese doctor? I’m quite interested in that.
Mr Song: Oh dear, Mr Smith, a time such as this and you’re still thinking about researching all aspects of China? No problem, I’ll help you with your arrangements immediately.
Mr Smith: Not at all, it’s just that Chinese medicine is really mysterious from our “foreigners’“ point of view.
Mr Song: A piece of cake! I’ll deal with this!
Mr Smith: All right. Mm Mr Song, What was I saying? Oh, something about changing the time of tomorrow’s meeting.
Mr Song: Here comes the Dragon Boat Festival the day after tomorrow. How about after the holiday?
Mr Song: That’s also good. That way you can also have a rest for a few days and look after yourself. In that case, shall I decide on the Monday after the Dragon Boat Festival? At the same time?
Mr Smith: No problem, next Monday then, at the usual time. Sorry to be a nuisance to you!
Mr Song: That’s what I’m here for. Hurry and rest and when you wake tomorrow, contact me and I’ll take you to see the doctor.
MR Smith: Thanks for that. That’s all.
Mr Song: All right, if there is any other problem, contact me at any time.
Mr Smith: All right, goodbye.
Mr Song: Goodbye.
