路人:好的。
史密斯:从这里拍,把后面的塔拍进去就可以了。
路人:你要半身还是全身?
史密斯:都可以的。
路人:快门是按这个键吗?
史密斯:是的,按着这个它会自动调焦距的。

Taking pictures:

Smith: Hello, excuse me, but can you help me to take a photo?
Passer by: OK
Smith: Please take it (from) here and get the pagoda in the background if you can.
Passer by: Do you want all of you in or just your top half?
Smith: I don’t mind.
Passer by: Do I press this button for the shutter?
Smith: Yes, if you press this button it will automatically adjust the focal length.
Passer by: Are you ready?
Smith: OK
Passer by: One, two, three, cheese!
Passer by: Wait a moment, I’ll take a few and then you can choose.
Smith: Oh yes, OK.
Passer by: One, two, three, cheese!
Smith walks over to the passer by and the passer by returns his camera.
Passer by: Have a look and tell me what you think.
Smith: Very good! They’re much better than I’d thought. You’re really good at taking pictures.
Passer by: Oh well, I’m glad you like them. I think the second one’s the best.
Smith: I agree. Many thanks.
Passer by: Thank you, it was nothing. Oh, could you take a group photo of us? My (elder) sister has always wanted a photo with a foreigner.
Smith: That’s all right!
Passer by: OK, everyone do something funny or pull a funny face!
Smith: What shall we do?
Passer by: For example go cross-eyed, put two horns on your head, I don’t mind.
Everybody: One, two, three, cheese!
Passer by: Thank you.
Smith: You’re welcome.
Passer by: Would you leave an e-mail address or phone number for us. We can send you a photo later.
Smith: That’s fine. I’ll write it for you, I’m just looking for some paper.
Passer by: That’s all right, just tell me and I’ll put it in my phone.
Smith: smith@gmail.com
Passer by: All right, I’ve got to go! Keep in touch!
Smith: All right, goodbye.
