UKCSCHD

A first pass of the metadata is now in the registry.

4. Tools & Resources

PH suggested that the developers of Lime Survey should be approcached foPascal Heus visit to UKr clarification on the compatibility of thier tool with DDI 2 & 3. There are some suggestions on their web-site that they acknowledge DDI but it is unclear as to whether there are currently any mechanisms to export/import DDI specifications. It was agreed that this would represent a very atractive option for later development and deployment of surveys and should be explored.

5. Issues

TC suggested that we need to start to compile lists of problems and feature requests that can be included in a functional requirements document that would form an output of this process.

6. Other business

The MRC Data Support Service has invited TC to a workshop to demonstrate the progress that has been made on the development of their catalogue tool for MRC funded public health data. Liaison with the DSS project was originally identified as a desirable component of the SERPent project so this provides a valuable opportunity for collaboration.

PH needs to arrange a suitable date for his final visit to the UK. PH proposed the week beginning 27th September. We discussed options for facilitators of the final retrospective session and PH suggested that we may ask Melanie Wright for assistance.

7. Date of next meeting

Friday 23rd July at 2.30pm.
