NA = Numerical Aperture, WD = Working Distance

There is also a 60x UPLSAPO60XW water lens with NA 1.2, WD 0.28 and a correction collar for coverslip thicknesses 0.13 to 0.21 mm. It is kept in a drawer because there isn't a free position in the nose piece. If you need to use this leans then please ask a member of the Light Microscopy Facility staff because the microscope software settings must be edited when an objective lens changes.

FLUORESCENCE FILTER SETS: Filter sets for imaging a wide range of standard visible and far-red fluorophores are available.

  • 3 channel PMT (Hamamatsu R7862)
  • External transmitted light PMT (Hamamatsu R7400)
  • Ultra-high sensitivity detector GaAsP with onboard Peltier cooling system (2 channel)
