Use the Lecturecast system to schedule and manage lecture recordings, add and share class materials with participants via Moodle and monitor and gather information about your classes.

These Wiki pages contain important information about how the system operates at UCL including guidance on scheduling and accessing recordings.

In addition to the resources available via this Wiki, further support is also available about the Lecturecast Active Learning Platform (ALP) via the vendor's help pages. You will see the terms Echo360 and ALP used throughout the Lecturecast Online Help. Echo360 is the vendor name and ALP is the platform they provide.

(warning) Staff are advised to familiarise themselves with how the system operates at UCL in the first instance.

Please note that making Lecturecast recordings available is a two step process:

  1. Schedule the recording via the Lecturecast Scheduler
  2. Make the recording available via Moodle using the Lecturecast Moodle Connector block and the Lecturecast Activity tool.
