This resource allows you to create 'Lightbox' enabled image galleries within your Moodle course. Small thumbnails will then be generated, which are used for the thumbnail view of the gallery.
Allows you to create a visually engaging Moodle course, and students can contribute to the images when the correct settings are applied.
Course administrators and tutors can create, edit and delete galleries and delegate edit rights to students if they choose.
Students can view the images within the gallery.
Ensure your images are clearly named.
The UCL E-Learning Baseline suggests the following for Resources:
5.1 Use descriptive titles for all items and consider displaying the item's description on the course homepage, as this helps students understand the purpose of the activity or resource.
5.2 Provide learning resources - Provide presentation slides, notes or handouts. See which file format to use when. UCL policy is to provide lecture materials 48 hours in advance.
