Task sheet - Creating a demo assessment on the practice environment

To help you get started in the Manager role, below are some recommend tasks to complete.

Please note you should never create an assessment on the AssessmentUCL live site. Real assessments will be created for you to ensure that they are set up correctly with Portico information and to allow the correct exporting of grades back to Portico.

You can, however, create a demo assessment on the practice environment to get familiar with the platform functionality.

The video below demonstrates how to create a basic assessment in the Manager role, which on the platform is called a flow.

Assessor & Reviewer role

Coming soon. Please note that the new marking tool has been released and officially came out of beta on 02/02/2024. Guidance will become available in due course; please ensure you consult your Faculty Learning Technology Lead or a Digital Assessment Advisor to check whether this is suitable for your assessment.
