Web Conferencing for students

You may be invited to an online meeting in Blackboard Collaborate is a plugin fro Moodle that enables you to participate in web-based sessions with tutors and other students. Using your own computer Ultra. BbCollab is used to run tutorials, lectures, meetings and other events at a distance. Using your own device you can interact via audio, virtual whiteboards, text chat and video . Web conferencing systems are sometimes referred to as virtual classrooms.  It is used to run tutorials, lectures, meetings and other virtual events.  If you are a UCL student or member of staff and have been asked to participate in a web conferencing session you will need to contact the staff moderator (most likely a tutor or course administrator) for a link to the session/ Moodle page.- depending on what the organiser of the meeting has set up. 

You'll usually reach this via a link in your module's Moodle space, but sometimes via a direct link.
