What is it?

Each of the text box editors available in UCL Moodle (Atto and TinyMCE) enable use of images as part of the entered text.

Why use it?

Images can be used for purely aesthetic purposes, or to visually illustrate more complex ideas and information, such as graphs and charts.

Who can use it?

Ensure that the image is described when it is uploaded regardless of the the text editor in use. This is termed 'alt' text, and provides a description of the image for someone who cannot see it due to a visual impairment.
