Directional verbs like 上去 shàngqu 'go up' can be made into potential complements by putting 得 de in the middle.

上得去 Shàngdeqù 'can go up'

这么高的平台,上得去吗? Zhème gāo de píngtái, shàngdeqù ma?
‘Can we get up to such a high platform?’

这个塔顶上得去吗? Zhège tǎdǐng shàngdeqù mā?
‘Can we get up to the top of the tower?’

这座山不陡,肯定上得去。 Zhè zuò shān bù dǒu, kěndìng shàngdeqù.
‘This hill is not very steep, we must be able to climb it.’
