The boar and the sow

The boar and the sow were very much in love. When the sow was asleep, the boar would stand guard for her, to make sure the butcher could not kill her. Due to lack of sleep the boar got thinner and thinner. One day the boar overheard the butchers talking: "The sow is big enough to be slaughtered." From then on, the boar desperately tried to eat a lot of food and get fat. He also asked the sow to stand guard for him while he was asleep. The sow was angry and thought that the boar did not care for her anymore. In the end, after the boar had made himself so fat the butcher set their eyes on him for slaughter. Before leaving, the boar said to the sow: "I will no longer be at your side, remember to eat a little less." And then he was slaughtered in floods of tears. The sow was heartbroken and slept at the place where the boar had slept and saw the words written on the wall: "If love cannot be expressed in words, I would give my life to prove it.”
