Web Conferencing for students

Blackboard Collaborate is a plugin fro Moodle that enables you to participate in web-based sessions with tutors and other students. Using your own computer you can interact via audio, virtual whiteboards, text chat and video. Web conferencing systems are sometimes referred to as virtual classrooms.  It is used to run tutorials, lectures, meetings and other virtual events.

If you are a UCL student or member of staff and have been asked to participate in a web conferencing session you will need to contact the staff moderator (most likely a tutor or course administrator) for a link to the session/ Moodle page.

Once you are in the Blackboard Collaborate session you may find the guides below useful.
