Integrating Blogging into Teaching & Learning

UCL Reflect is provided to allow students and staff to use blogging for teaching and learning purposes.

Blogging can be used to align teaching more closely with the Connected Curriculum, which aims "to ensure that all UCL students are able to learn through participating in research and enquiry at all levels of their programme of study." and is at the heart of UCL's Education Strategy 2016-21 and UCL 2034, the university's 20-year institutional strategy.

Blogs can be used to support students to:

  • Reflect on their experiences during study
  • Build a portfolio of their work
  • Collaborate on subject matter work
  • Share their understanding of their discipline beyond UCL
  • And much much more…
